Israel’s Supreme Court to hear petitions against first Netanyahu law attacking judiciary

The most serious clash among the branches of government in Israel’s history will come before the Supreme Court at 9 A.M. Tuesday, when an unprecedented panel of all 15 justices will hear a challenge to an amendment of the Basic Law on the Judiciary that annuls the reasonableness standard.
