‘Follow the King’ Art exhibit at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center

“Follow the King” Art exhibit is being presented at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers. The artworks are inspired by the written work of Stephen King, America’s well known horror author.

One of the featured works of art represents an electric chair called “The Green Mile.” The artist, Cynthia Morrison, is a former escape artist that performed a jailbreak escape at the Louisiana State penitentiary nearly two decades ago. The prison facility is believed to be the inspiration for the setting in the King film “The Green Mile.”

The exhibit runs through July 27.

The Davis Art Center is at 2301 First St., Fort Myers. For additional information, visit https://www.sbdac.com/ or call 239-333-1933.
