REPORTS
SEXUAL BATTERY, 2023-07300091, S. Carlin Springs Road at Arlington Boulevard. At approximately 9:09 a.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile victim was walking on the trail when he was approached by the unknown male suspect. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation before touching him inappropriately and fleeing the scene on foot. Officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Hispanic male in his 40’s with gray hair, approximately 5’7” wearing a red shirt and dark sweat pants. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2023-07300129, S. Grant Street and 29th Road S. At approximately 11:47 a.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Officers made telephone contact with the victim who reported she was walking in the area when she was approached by the suspect vehicle. The suspect engaged her in conversation during which the suspect exposed himself before driving away. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8” with a beard wearing gray pants and a gray shirt driving a black sedan. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2023-07280144, 2000 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 11:14 a.m. on July 28, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 3:00 a.m., the victim was asleep in his residence when he heard a noise and upon investigation, observed the suspect on the balcony and confronted him. The suspect then left the scene. The suspect is described as a White male with a skinny build in his 20’s with dark hair wearing pants and a dark t-shirt. No items were reported stolen from the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2023-07290308, 2400 block of 16th Street N. At approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 29, an officer on patrol was flagged down by a community member reporting a late attempted breaking and entering. The preliminary investigation indicates on July 27 at approximately 1:00 p.m., the victim was inside of his residence when he heard a noise and observed the unknown male suspect attempt to make entry to the home. The victim then confronted the suspect and he fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a White male with a skinny build, approximately 5’7”and 20-25 years old. The investigation is ongoing.
