Waubay man sentenced on one of nine charges of criminal entry of motor vehicle

{KXLG – Watertown, SD} Ethan Anthony-Gale, a Waubay, SD resident, appeared in court on July 2nd, 2024, facing multiple charges of criminal entry of a motor vehicle. According to court documents, the prosecutor dismissed all nine but one of these charges.

Anthony-Gale entered a no-contest plea to the remaining charge, meaning he did not admit guilt but accepted the consequences of a guilty verdict. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with the sentence suspended.

He was also ordered to pay a fine of $300, court costs of $50, and surcharges of $46.50. Additionally, he must repay the court $92 in restitution. Additionally, Dolney is required to be a law-abiding citizen for 360 days.

The court documents also list several conditions of Anthony-Gale’s probation, including being a law-abiding citizen for one year and reimbursing the county for any court-appointed attorney fees.
