The Federal Correctional Complex in Terre Haute is looking to hire more than 71 correctional officers during a hiring event on Saturday.
The event will run from 8 a.m.-noon at the U.S. Penitentiary’s front lobby at 4700 Bureau Rd. South in Terre Haute.
There will be a resume workshop and application assistance for anyone interested in a position. The facility is offering $10,000 or 25 percent sign on bonus for correctional officers.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has also increased its maximum entry age up to 40 years old for Correctional Officers.
The salary range for a correctional officer is $48,809 to $74,179, which does not include shift differential, overtime, and holidays.
