The United States “is recruiting criminals from Mexican and Colombian drug cartels to fight in Ukraine.” This was stated by the press office of Foreign Intelligence Service (Svr) of Russia.

“US private military companies, led by the US Federal Drug Enforcement Agency and the FBI, have begun recruiting representatives of Mexican and Colombian drug cartels into US prisons with the intent of having them participate in the Ukrainian conflict alongside the degrading regime of Kiev,” the Russian body said. According to the SVR, the United States promises complete amnesty to prisoners.

Svr adds that the first group will be sent to Ukraine as early as this summer. “If the pilot project of replenishing the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with criminals from Latin America is successful, the recruitment program will continue and will be expanded,” Russian intelligence further added. However, for Moscow, US plans to gain a tactical advantage on the battlefield in this way “are doomed to fail”. The administration of US President Joe Biden “effectively confirms his impotence and once again demonstrates to us the inferiority of the Kiev regime”, he concludes.
