Paper Chained International Art Exhibition

After receiving art from prisons around Australia and the world for several years, curator Damien Linnane and Paper Chained magazine is hosting its first art exhibition.

Paper Chained International will feature over 100 artworks from 25 prisons in 8 different countries, including artworks from prisons all over Australia.

‘The original purpose of Paper Chained was to improve the mental health of prisoners by giving them a constructive, creative outlet. Hopefully this exhibition will continue that goal, while also showing the public both the creativity and humanity of people in custody.’

– Damien Linnane.

The exhibition will be opened by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of NSW.

Exhibition dates: Friday 3rd May – Friday 31st May.
