Rep. Gina Mosbrucker (R-Goldendale) recently got out of prison.
Of course she was there just as a visitor. And it wasn’t just one prison; it was several. And they weren’t in the U.S.—they were in Norway. In that nation, despite criticism from some quarters for running “luxury prisons,” the recidivism rate (the percentage of incarcerated people who end up back in prison within five years of their release) is under 20%.
