Shaheed El-Hafed, March 29, 2025 (SPS) – Mustafa Mohamed Ali Sid El-Bashir, Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Occupied Territories and Communities, issued a call to all Sahrawis, wherever they are, and to those in solidarity with the Sahrawi cause, to engage immediately and effectively in the international campaign for the release of Sahrawi political prisoners. He urged them to raise awareness about their suffering and to organize solidarity events in support of them.
During a press conference held today at the Media Archive headquarters, the minister emphasized the necessity of adhering to national principles and defending the legitimate and established rights of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence. He also highlighted the importance of combating the malicious and misleading propaganda of the Moroccan occupation, which distorts the truth and conceals the deteriorating social, economic, and political situation in the occupying state, where unemployment, poverty, and crime are alarmingly widespread.
As a reminder, Minister Mustafa Mohamed Ali Sid El-Bashir announced today, Saturday, the official launch of the international campaign for the release of Sahrawi political prisoners under the slogan “Freedom for Sahrawi Civilian Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons.”
