A woman has detailed how she spent £63,000 on her husband while he was in jail – saying it was worth every penny. Arrogrance Wood-Houston met her husband Zyion at a barbecue and immediately felt that he was the one. But she didn’t realise at the time that he had just come out of prison and would soon be heading back there. Zyion was first jailed when he was just 17 because he threatened other children with a gun and took a bag of sweets from them.
At the time he was tried as an adult and convicted of robbery with a sentence that would have seen him behind bars until he was almost 50. However, he had his early release negotiated by a high-profile lawyer. His freedom was short-lived and he was soon back behind bars for a new offense.

Arrogrance, 33, remains determined to stick by her man and the pair married and then had regular conjugal visits on prison grounds in a special caravan. They conceived their baby during one such visit. Talking on the Love Don’t Judge YouTube channel, Arrogrance explained: “I don’t stay in a cell with my husband and his cellmate. They have a place that’s on the prison compound. It’s like a little house, and you set it up how you want during those 48 hours.”
Arrogrance also described how she would bring food for the couple to cook on the barbecue grill provided by prison authorities. She admitted that she would also deep clean the space before they enjoyed their visits explaining: “I deep clean before we do anything. I sanitise everything – I won’t even sit on the couches.”
Zyion, 29, added: “I know the stuff I was doing during the conjugal visits, so I could just imagine what others was doing in there.” Arrogrance admits she has blown thousands on buying designer clothes and fragrances for Zyion, as well as spending a small fortune on calling the prison.

She has been slammed by her older sister Dorothy who says Arrogrance has spent a “ridiculous” amount. She said: “I didn’t like how much they talked. It really irritated my soul. We would be talking and in mid-conversation she’d say ‘Oh Z’s calling, I’ll have to call you back.’
“They had just talked 10 minutes ago and he’s calling again? What do you guys have to talk about? I think she probably spent $1,000 in a week on phone calls which was ridiculous to me.” However, Arrogrance thinks people just “don’t understand” their relationship and how happy it makes her. Zyion is currently on probation and has an ankle tag.
