Call for Urgent Action to Save Death Row Prisoners and International Fact-Finding Mission to Visit Iranian Prisons
On Monday, November 13, the criminal agents of Khamenei executed three Baluchi prisoners named Mohammad Barahoui Anjomani, Mohammad Karim Bakazaei Akson, and Edris Bilrani in Zahedan for twice attacking the headquarters of State Security Force (SSF), Police Station 12, and attacking an SSF patrol that led to the death and injury of several SSF agents of the regime.
The SSF and its police stations in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province are under the command of the Quds Force of the IRGC Ground Force, which is responsible for suppressing Baluchi compatriots in the province. Police Station 16 in Zahedan attacked demonstrators and worshipers with machine guns on September 30, 2022, and killed over a hundred of them, including several children and women.
With the execution of these three prisoners, the number of executions in the past 22 days has reached at least 81.
On the other hand, on Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, repressive forces wounded nine hard-working porters in the border area of Baneh (Kurdistan province) by shooting at them. Previously, from November 9 to 11, 11 other porters in the same area were wounded by shooting from repressive forces.
The Iranian Resistance once again draws the attention of the international community to the need for urgent action to save death-row prisoners and calls for an international fact-finding mission to visit Iranian prisons and meet with prisoners, especially political prisoners.
