BERLIN – Germany’s Minister of Interior announced on Thursday that Germany has banned the activities of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) as of yesterday,
as well as the Samidoun Network for the Defense of Prisoners in Israeli
occupation prisons, according to Al-Mamlaka.
Minister Nancy Faeser said in a statement,
“As for Hamas, the activities of a terrorist organization aimed at
destroying the state of Israel are completely banned today.”
She also mentioned that the German branch of
the Samidoun network will be dissolved.
“The international network operates under
the guise of a solidarity group with prisoners to spread anti-Israel and
anti-Semitic propaganda,” Faeser said.
The Samidoun Network works to defend
Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.
