REPORTS

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2023-09220038, 700 block of N. Wayne Street. At approximately 5:41 a.m. on September 22, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Officers located the allegedly intoxicated male suspect asleep inside the hallway of the residential building and took him into custody without incident. The investigation determined the suspect gained access to a secured area of the residential building by following a witness inside. Curtis Moore, 43, of Richmond, Va. was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Public Intoxication.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2023-09240049, 2600 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:35 a.m. on September 24, police were dispatched to the report of a possible burglary just occurred. Upon arrival, officers located property damage to the business and the investigation determined the two unknown suspects struck the exterior of the business with a truck before fleeing the scene on foot. Entry was not made inside the business and no items were reported stolen. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
