REPORTS

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2023-10090019, 900 block of N. Edgewood Street. At approximately 1:25 a.m. on October 9, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness heard a loud noise and observed the unknown male suspect on the property of the vacant home. Responding officers established a perimeter, observed signs of forced entry into the home and conducted a search of the property for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10″-6’1”, wearing a puffy jacket and dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2023-10090052, 2000 block of S. Bell Street. At approximately 6:59 a.m. on October 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 9:00 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. on October 8, the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a secured garage and stole building materials. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
