A former cast member of the reality show “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” was sentenced to seven years in prison Tuesday for hiring, and then assisting, a mob hitman to attack his ex-wife’s current spouse, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.
Thomas Manzo, 59, of Franklin Lakes, was sent straight to prison following his appearance before Judge Susan D. Wigenton in U.S. District Court in Newark. In addition to the 84 months in prison, the judge fined Manzo $50,000 and ordered that he be placed on supervision for three years upon his release.
