Seattle man gets 10 more months in prison for injuring prison nurse

A 23-year-old man who injured a nurse at the federal prison in Sheridan was sentenced Wednesday to another 10 months in custody.

Elvin Hunter Williams of Seattle was already serving a four-year term for a 2022 conviction in federal court in Washington for his plan to join ISIS, a designated foreign terrorist organization, and engage in violence in the Middle East or the United States, according to court records. He had been arrested in May 2021 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
