KALAMAZOO, MI — It took three bailiffs to drag a combative Damien Lang out of court after he was sentenced to serve a minimum of 100 years in prison for the murder of Bryce Salter.
Lang, 29, shot and killed Salter, 21, on Nov. 11, 2022, outside of the now-closed Y Bar & Bistro. He was convicted of second-degree murder on Oct. 30, following a trial in Kalamazoo County Circuit Court.
