REPORTS

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2023-11050009, 800 block of N. Highland Street. At approximately 12:44 a.m. on November 5, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect gained entry to the occupied residence and fled the scene after being confronted by the victim. Responding officers canvassed the area, located the suspect walking at N. Highland Street and N. Pershing Drive and took him into custody without incident. Zachary Allen, 24, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry and Public Intoxication.

PEEPING (late), 2023-11040114, 1000 block of S. Edgewood Street. At approximately 1:45 p.m. on November 4, police were dispatched to the late report of peeping. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 6:55 p.m. on November 3, the male suspect was allegedly observed peeping into the open business and inappropriately touched himself before leaving the scene on foot. During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect and obtained warrants for Peeping and Public Masturbation.

ASSAULT BY MOB (late), 2023-11040216, 100 block of S. Old Glebe Road. At approximately 9:23 p.m. on November 4, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 8:30 p.m., the two juvenile female victims were on County property when they were confronted by the juvenile female suspect whom one of the victims had an ongoing dispute with. A group of juveniles gathered around the victims and suspect, during which the victims attempted to the leave the area. The suspect and group of juveniles then followed the victims and assaulted them. A witness separated the suspect and victims who all subsequently left the scene. No injuries were reported. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
