REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-09300146, 4800 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:03 p.m. September 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the known male suspect allegedly struck the male victim, stole his backpack, removed the contents, and discarded the bag before leaving the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast and officers located the suspect in the area of Columbia Pike and S. Four Mile Run Drive. He was observed urinating in public and subsequently taken into custody. No injuries were reported. Marvin Rivas Ordonez, 44, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery, Public Intoxication and Public Urination. He was held without bond.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 2023-09300202, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 7:08 p.m. on September 30, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was inside an establishment when the unknown male suspect approached her from behind and touched her inappropriately. Several witnesses then confronted the suspect outside the establishment before he left the scene on foot. The suspect is described as an Indian male, approximately 30-40 years old, 5’7”, wearing dark jeans and a red shirt and sunglasses. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2023-09300248, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 10:30 p.m. on September 30, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown male suspect gained entry into a closed business and subsequently left the scene on foot. At the time of the report, it was unknown if any items were stolen. The suspect is described as a slim-build Black male, approximately 17-20 years old with dreadlocks wearing a blue sweatshirt, gray shorts and white sneakers.  The investigation is ongoing.
