Iran ‘No To Executions’ Campaign: Call For International Action And Widespread Support From International Community

Following Maryam Rajavi’s call to end executions in Iran and her firm commitment to the abolition of the death penalty, over 3,000 parliamentarians, mayors, and political, religious, and cultural figures from 78 countries have signed a joint statement urging the international community to take decisive action to stop executions in Iran.

The declaration states:

“The Iranian authorities use these executions for political purposes, seeking to instill fear and terror to prevent uprisings by the Iranian people. Therefore, any execution carried out under the current theocracy should be recognized as politically motivated.”

Over the past year, the campaign has evolved into a national and international protest movement.
